Description:

This is a destination climb. A classic with two great pitches. The last pitch has three bolts on beautiful white rock, and the last bolt protects the hight-related crux. The first ascent party placed bolts on rappel. Start scrambling up left about 20 feet on ledges from base of huge left-facing corner of Easy Verschneidung. Pitch 1: 5.6 PG 100 ft. Climb up face past right-facing corners and flakes to the small overhang, move left and up the bulging face (crux) to the GTLedge. Pitch 2: 5.8 PG 100 ft. Pass notch in overhang (5.7 PG) to a stance. Continue up face passing two bolts to the final bolt in the short bulging headwall. Work up this (crux) to bolt anchor/rap station. Beautiful climb. Really nice low angle face, a rarity in the Gunks.
