Description:
Start: Between Matinee and Easy Overhang. There is a trail from the carriage road just past the new restroom. Climb the obvious widening crack. The offwidth section is notorious for Gunks climbers, but easy if you know how to climb cracks. ***MISSING CHOCK STONE*** THERE USE TO BE A CHOCK STONE IN THE OFFWIDTH CRACK. THE CHOKE STONE IS NO LONGER THERE MAKING THE ROUTE HARDER THEN A 5.6***** (Rap bolts & chains to the right on the ledge). The second pitch climb up to an intimidating roof, which is pulled to the top. Classic-be careful not to knock down loose rocks on the GT ledge.Descent Options:
Rap off tree on top of second pitch then rap off of bolted anchor on top of first pitch

Heady but rewarding lead
I layed back the offwidth after an awkward try to stay in it. Felt stiff for a 5.6. There's two small rocks chocked in there, but I only used them to rest. #4 cam to protect the offwidth. Second pitch roof pull is a sweet finish, easier than it looks.

THe offwidth used to scare me to death. Now it's a joyful easy climb. Someone jammed some rocks into the offwidth. Not sure why, they really don't help anything.

this was the only climb that was dry today
And...we didn't lead it. It was totally dry, except for the bottom.
