Description:
Climb a short nice looking crack on a pretty white face right of the Easy Overhang area, and then pass a bulge to a ledge (rap bolts & chains to the right). Pitch 2 climbs steep rock to an overhanging corner. Either escape left partway up the corner, or pull the overhang at hard 5.6 Excellent climb.

Great climb. Pretty wild exposure for the grade and height.
The ease of the climbing on P2 doesn't trump the fact that there are some longer runouts between good placements. It depends on which variation you take, but the "PG" this route gets in the grey Dick is probably a little generous.

Do it!
Lead P2. Fun route with a low easy to protect crux on P1. Was a lot of fun blasting diagonally up through the overhangs. Gear was mostly good but a little spaced at the top but the roof stuff was easy. A bit heady and exposed in places and a real treat. With all of these easy roofs Gunks climbers are spoiled!

climbed in the dark by headlamp- sweet!
climbed this yesterday at the very end of the day. Dave led up the route at dusk, and by the time i was heading up to clean it was total darkness- my first climb by headlamp!! really fun. we only did the first pitch though, so i look forward to the final pitch.
this is on my tick list of climbs to lead, so i figure if i can second it in the dark i should be able to lead it in the day when i can actually see all the holds. haha!! great climb though.
