Didn't want to pop a tendon using the mono. I suppose I could have found feet, but, it was slippy slidey due to the 8-10 hours of rain the night before.

Once you get past the tunnel vision of face climbing in the Gunks and start using your crack climbing skills, certain climbs show themselves in a different light. Beta, Fist jam horizontal crack below 1 finger pocket and do the reach to the next horizontal. Talked to Jimmy Dunn a while back, said he always got harrassed for climbing like a crack climber when he was climbing at the Gunks.

nearly impossible for me
Much harder than a 10a, really hard for a short person. after trying the finger pocket 1x, I decided to use the corner through that move. Not worth risking a tear for a TR climb!
