Description:
Start 8-10 feet right of the thin seam that marks the start of Midnight Cowboy. Climb straight up the blank looking face on hidden crimps (crux) to a stance 15-20 feel up. Finally get some decent gear and continue straight up, just right of Midnight Cowboy's white streak to a small tree (directional, back it up). Traverse left along a grassy ledge to the Nemesis tree.Descent Options:

A truly stupid climb. No protection off the ground for the crux, but climbing gets progressively easier and the talus below is fairly clear. Williams lists this route as a toprope, but it does represent an enjoyable lead if (1) it's a busy day and you need something to do or (2) you've climbed everything else.
