| Directions: | NC-49 north from Charlotte (South from Asheboro). 8 miles north of Richfield, turn left onto NC-8. After 1 mile turn left onto Stokes Rd. After another 1.5 miles you will come to a stop sign. Turn left onto Newsom Rd. and park at the end next to Railroad tracks. (This is a weekend party spot so lock your doors!) Walk north on track until milepost 42 (10 minutes). Walk up trail to the right. Boulders are everywhere. Follow trail for TR climbing. |
