Three bolts and two pitons, add gear to suit. Very old chains on left upper face are not trusted, finish straight up and cross over right to use 'Herculean' anchors to lower. Cleaning and belaying second will be difficult.

Description:
Coming up from Amphitheater, you will round an edge and be at Golden Wall. Find a bolt at the edge of a low overhang: that's this route, up the left end of the wall. The start is harder than for 'Herculean' and many use that one. Cannot belay lead without blocking Trail, which is strongly discouraged by park Superintendent who may remove this route if there are complaints from hikers.

Alex did it
Date may be a bit off, I was just watching three guys. The other two had led "Herculean" and traversed to top-rope this one. After some study, Alex pulled the very difficult crux (similar to that on "Black and Blue") and made it on up. So, it can be done, if you can do it: "Herculean" isn't the real test on this wall.
