Description:

Set back from the trail is a narrow high face with one more long roof. This route is the left side, aiming to go around the roof from a ledge. The ledge is the crux. Gully at left is hazardous, use "Cowboy" gully short distance left.

Like it's neighbor Bat out of Hell, this one isn't easy. I think I cheated around the mid-level crux but plan to go back and take another stab at it. The roof was quite a workout. Leaders take note that you don't get anything from that second bolt on the roof until the anchors and it was pretty pumpy!

Little bit of dirt on the top section but otherwise the route was good. If you want to make it harder swing right and go over the roof. Pumpy.

My first hang dog but I did manage to fight my way through it. Thought I ended up off route but was dead on. Coming back to do this one clean later when I'm healthy. Pretty pumpy at the crux.
