Long Low Roof
About Long Low Roof:
The next section of cliff downhill from Bears has its roof right along the Trail, becoming wider and lower downhill so that the last longest part overhangs the Trail. Only the uphill end shows any face height. Kelley included three routes here; but the Trail leaves no room for any of them, and working the roof upside-down is most of two of them with no good protection for doing that. |
Approach: | Next section downhill or left from Three Bears, next uphill from the Copper Cap section, each in sight of the other. Path to rim is at pair of timber steps, through Pines and briars, to one Pine and tall block. |
