Description:
From the top of Upper Gully, the right south face is long and interesting where the largest tree is in the gully. It is also commonly damp and covered with lichens, with a locally rare fern in little pockets and large briars on ledges. There is a flake so sharp as to badly cut fingers if you slipped holding it. There is an overhang area that tends to beat knees bloody. The chute you think you can escape on is very slippery. The best thing about it is, when you give up trying to make this into a good climb, the parking lot is real close.
