Description:

Not a beginner trad route. The route starts at the top of a 20 foot boulder with delicate friction moves to get to the crack. A fall before the crack would be onto the small boulders below. you should be solid at leading 5.8 to try this one. Or you can climb Fruit Loops and on the way down swing over and place a piece to protect the opening moves of Granola.

5 out of 5 stars Lead

With Taylor and Sage. They both struggled, as expected, with the beginning roof undercling moves.

Had a great time following this one. Might try it on lead next time.

4 out of 5 stars damp undercling

I had forgotten the undercling isn't totally continuous and you have to switch to the rail up top for part of the traverse = added value. Bombproof slotted nut right before that though.

No shortage of lizards at rumbling bald... I felt like I had a small audience taking in my every move.

4 out of 5 stars Scary traverse to start

We did this on top rope after climbing Fruit Loops and setting up on rappel. Very fun climb without worrying about lead fall risk. For leading, it deserves an R rating, though.
