Description:

About 150 ft from left edge of Cereal Wall is a shallow dihedral, with a large tree 70 ft up. Climb dihedral, past tree, and belay on nice ledge fromed by a large flake-90 ft. Head somewhat right and upward until clipping a poor pin in the first overlap above. Head further right and place solid gear, spying the first of three bolts on a runout slab. Follow these to two bolt belay on headwall 100 ft. Above this belay spy a bolt. Head for the bolt, clip it, and then your off, trusting to god, and the sanity of the first ascentionist. Above this bolt there are numerous slots for small cams. Clip second bolt at about 65 ft, and then head right into crack feature. After placing gear, head back left to first of three bolts on runout slab. Finish into the trees on the right. this pitch is about 170ft.

Descent Options:

Rappel off trees to a station on the right. This station is about 230 ft over the ground, but a single rappel will place you in a tree, and on a good ledge where downclimbing is easy.

5 out of 5 stars Classic steep face

The description of the finish is incorrect. After clipping the second bolt on route and move right to the left facing flake, continue up and look up high and RIGHT for a SINGLE bolt below a large juniper tree, not three bolts out left. Trend up and right towards this bolt with two gear placements along the way. Don't miss them, this section is 7R.
