This is an "unknown 5.9" in the NC Selected guide. Starts just left of a large pine tree against the wall, left of Flakeview. Up to the first bolt, traverse left to the second bolt, up to the third bolt, then trad up to the anchors. The 5.9 rating is a sandbag. The climbing through the bolts goes at 5.10+. Above the bolts climbing is easy, but keeps your attention with friable flakes and mediocre gear. It looks like you could continue to trees for a second pitch of easy, crispy slab.

Descent Options:

Rap from anchor rings with a single 70m rope.

3 out of 5 stars Two kinds of fun.

The first part is fun because it's hard. The second part is fun because it's scary because you think a hold will break and send you tumbling down onto your less than bomber gear. The moves to the first bolt can be protected with a small nut. I did not opt for the boring looking second pitch.
