4 out of 5 stars My 1st Route at Ship

It felt a little stout for 5.6 but maybe I missed a hold. Get's pretty exposed at the top. Very fun route. The TR anchor isn't too bad. There is a rock pretty close to the edge and some small trees further back. There is a Camming Device that is perma-stuck in the crack up top.

3 out of 5 stars Excellent warmup

Still a great little warm-up. Setting up a belay up top can be a little tricky, but a fun climb.

2 out of 5 stars short but sweet

Bottom is a scramble but the middle might give you pause as there is a sort of 5.6 crux. Top out for the usual beautiful views of the viaduct and Grandfather.

Be careful with your gear anchor up top as there are parallel cracks around a tongue of rock that might move if all gear was placed on one side. Nice boulder to sling nearby. Easy 2 min walk off via a trail climbers left, faster than rappelling off something.
