About Latitude Butte:

This is a butte that faces due south and is roughly 30 to 40 ft tall. It sits within the Little Missouri National Grassland. The rock is a fairly brittle sandstone. The cliff face is about 150 to 200 ft long.
Nearest town or city: Due East of Keene
Directions: From Hwy 83, take Hwy 23 west towards New Town and the Four Bears Casino. Continue on Hwy 23 past Four Bears for about 13.5 miles. Go South on Rd 1806. Then take a left on County Rd 12. The Cliff will be ahead on the left.
Latitude, Longitude: 47.92727, -102.84013
Access Issues: This cliff sits behind a fence. There are a couple of farm houses nearby, but it is unknown of property ownership. Highly suggest stopping to ask nearby residents as to permission. I had no problems without asking, but that was 12 years ago, (1998).
Camping: No
When to Climb: Autumn Spring Summer
Quantity of Climbs: Day
