About Lake Vesuvius:
| Lake Vesuvius is the recreational area for the Wayne National Forest. It's a large, 143 acre lake encircled by over 25 miles of hiking trails. Camping, picnicking, or fishing are available. Just a few hours drive from Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, Akron, Cleveland, Louisville, and Pittsburgh. |

| Directions: | South of Portsmouth, OH North of Huntington, WV Take US 52 turn North on 93 go approximately 4 mile then turn right onto cr-29 go approximately 1 mile. Park in parking area on left past dam. |
