Description:

This small lake park is very poplar with local fishermen, swimmers and small boats. This area is very close to Ironton, Oh. A small Appalachian town, sitting along the northern banks of the Ohio River. Its very down home feel, is very much like the red river gorge. Nice bouldering. There are many boulders and short walls all along the lake side trail, and parking lot. It has been years since I have been there. Most of the good rock is to be found on the trail. Most of the problems have unknown F.A. ascents are names. I meet one climber of three that I meet in 1997, who said there was a guide he wrote. Don’t know.
