Route is up obvious black water streak that goes up the middle of Elk Mtn Slab. Route is 205 feet long and can be done in one pitch or two. First pitch (100 feet) - Start at the bottom of a crack/corner system, pull over the bulge and up to the water streak. Once you are over the bulge there is no pro until you get to the belay anchors. Second pitch (105 feet) - Continue up the water streak or on the face to the right if it is wet. Cam placements are availble in a crack about 2/3s of the way up this pitch (below the cactus). Reach a couple of nice bolts below Buns Up and belay.

I led it sometime in the late to mid 70's, but it had seen many more ascents before then and was commonly climbed in the seventies. Relatives that lived in the area indicated that the first ascent was probably in the 1920's by Boe Patty.
