Description:
(5.11b / 50ft / 3 bolts, gear .5in to 2.5in, natural belay) Climb the interesting, inset “V”-notch corner system, left of the main buttress. This is an excellent route, on par with the 5.11’s on Lost Dome. It starts trad (textbook nuts), and ends trad, with a trio of bolts in the middle. This route would be super burly, if not for the periodic come-to-the-rescue face holds that seem to appear just when you need them most.

wears me out just to remember it -
after just "old dog" as a warm-up I only got to the 3rd bolt first try, working out the sequences up to there was a "spendy" business, I lowered to let X have a shot while it was still shady. Must have remembered something, since I at least got up it (still with some hangs, though) on the 2nd try, in the sun.

Practiced clean aid up this route. Dan F'ed up his finger somehow half way up and I topped it out. Some placements were just a bit tricky, but it was one of my first aids. Fun!
