Seconded robs lead of this balancy technical route. He led in fine fashion getting in good gear where possible. The rest is kind of akward to protect. nice sustained 5.8 with nice moves to top out.

Blasted description in Chuck's guide says "fairly easy to protect" - compared to what, I want to know? At least I found the bomber stopper, and got in a good #2 further down. Chris was kind enough to only comment on that, coming up - "Bomber #2" - what he wasn't saying is that the rest was crap. My fault, I'm sure, but fiddly seamy-cracks with ugly edges weren't exactly sucking up the pro!

Balancy rests kept me moving anyway, and I didn't test the pro. Whew! Nice finish to a fine weekend in the backcountry.
