Description:

F.A. Charlie Oydston, Mike Panciera (1975). This route goes up the beautiful steep looking ramp/sidewalk over the water on the left (south) end of the lichen wall. Begin near the waters edge on black rock (small corner also the start of Old #7). Face climb up and then traverse left over water to the start of the ramp. There's some pro to be had behind questionable flakes and such - keep your eyes open. Once at the ramp, climb up to the tree ledge and belay. Good pro all along the ramp. Second pitch goes up easy corner (trough) up and right and through an amazing old cedar tree. Belay and then continue on up easy rock via a wide crack or go righ to the rap anchors above Jays Gully. Edit: Pro can be a bit tricky and run out is pretty much certain ("OK Select" give it R rating).
