About Meat Slab:

This is a great beginner location for setting trad top roping. The routes are right next to each other, so take a couple of ropes up, and run all the routes. With 40' height, it is a quick climb. Recommend running the routes several times, you can make them harder if you try.
Approach: Start from Boulder Camp, hike into The Narrows along the West Cache Creek. Near a "No Sport Rappel" sign the trail splits. The easiest is to take the right down to the creek, and following the creek downstream. Meat Slab is on your right.
Approach Time: 5-10 minutes from the parking lot.
Latitude, Longitude: 34.69000, -98.67000
Access Issues: class three scramble up the backside. Be ready to get wet crossing the water, rocks to walk on move and are slippery.
Rock Type: Granite
Type of Climbing: Sport/Trad
