Description:
FA: Terry Andrews, Amber Shafer 12/31/04. Climb the obvious chimney and hand crack to the good ledge 15 feet below the top of the Elk Mtn Summit Dome. How do you get to the summit? I don't know!!!!

The real first acent
Did this route while I was attending cameron university and trying to get to the top. I did it free solo in climbing boot before I knew anthing about technical climbing. A week later I threw a rope over wagon rock and tied off a flake on the north side and tree on the south side. Then I hand over hand climbed up to the hump and third classed it to the top. Someone else had been up their before me as there was a drilled hole on the highest point with metal in it. Don't remember if it was an old pin, bolt, or usgs marker.
