Tiny Big Crack - 5.5

Description:
Flaring crack. (edit:) If you start at the ground this is a nice, varied climb, starting with a short friction slab, then at the ledge there's about a ten-foot chimney up to a big crack up the main, low-angle frictiony slab. Crack adds some nice security for the brand-spankin'-noobs. In fact, it's more a question of not getting stuck in it than not being secure enough!

Ascent Note
sam & I took two sophomores out to Tiny Bubbles today and this was the first route we put them on - I took firsties on it and was impressed with the variety, friction to chimney to big-ol'-crack-on-low-angle-face. Fun one - Sam had us on hip-belay from the top. anchoring off a tree & a boulder from way behind him he was able to belay us on all the Tiny Bubbles climbs merely having to adjust his anchor a bit when moving from climb to climb. very efficient!
