Description:

Follow the prominate dihedral to a roof. Traverse right under the roof to a small ledge above Crazy Alice and finish on the Alice anchors. Supposedly the best 5.6 in the southern US, absolutely the best in the WWR of its grade.

Descent Options:

Rappel down. One 50mm rope will do the trick.

5 out of 5 stars Good CLimb

Good lead climb. Bring plenty of cams med sized. A couple of good places for a large cam or big bro. Good pro spots and true to its rating. Crux is lower to the bottom (IMO). Traverse was fun and very easy. However, DO add that long runner to the last pro under the roof (major rope drag for me!) Lots of fun and good lead for me while I learn to place pro.

4 out of 5 stars First climb of the day

Takes plenty of wide gear. Good ledges to stop and place pro. Crux traverse could be intimidating. Use long slings, especially at the last piece before the traverse.

4 out of 5 stars Harder than I thought it would be

This route has some tall moves, and it's a little exposed on the traverse to the anchors. If you're short, be ready to reach and get on the tip-toes on this one.

4 out of 5 stars Good lead route

good route with good stances and pro spots! don't be scared to run it out a bit though... the climb is pretty chill! If you're running this up to the Flying Nun... make sure you put long runners on the pro at the bottom through the roof!!! the drag will feel like 120lbs!!!
