About Bridge of the Gods Bouldering:

This is a newly developed bouldering area in the Columbia River Gorge and is actually on the Washington side of the river. I drove out here once to try and find the boulders but didn't climb anything. I got a good feel for the place and am pretty sure my directions are right, but if anyone has actually climbed here I would love to hear some specific info.
Nearest town or city: Cascade Locks
Directions: From Portland, drive to the Bridge of the Gods (toll?) on I-84 and cross to SR 14 in Washington or drive on SR 14 East from Vancouver. About 1/4 mile east of the bridge turn left (north) onto Ash Lake Road and follow it to the back of the lakes. Take the steep gravel road on the left (if you miss it you will wind all the way around the lakes) and drive for 1/2 mile until you drive under the power lines. There should be some "campsites" around here on the right. Park here to acess the first areas. To get to the "Dome" area, take the road that cuts off uphill to the right after the "campsites" (if you see a smooth boulder in a ditch on the right you missed it) and drive to the top of the hill. From the top of the hill drive another 1/2 mile down the dirt road to a down hill pull out on the right. Park here.
