This is where it all began. With greats like Alan Watts and the late Todd Skinner, Smith Rock is a the sport climbing Mecca for the NW US! Over 1,000 routes, mostly bolted sport climbs, some Aid, and many good traditional climbs. This place is home to some of the hardest routes on earth, yet still offers challenges to climbers of all abilities. Don't miss the Monkey's Face.
Smith Rock is broken down into areas according to the Alan Watts guide. All other guides like Smith Rock Select and the Falcon Guide will be used as supplemental additions. This database will act as a guide, but it is highly recommended that you buy a guide but we'll do our best to make sure that area classics are here.  |
