One of the most beautiful and classic routes at Smith. Stout arete climbing, with several balancey deadpoints, and tricky clips. This is an old school sport route, and was once the hardest route in the park. Be careful with the first two clips, decking out is a real possibility; may want to use a long sling on the second bolt. There are three cruxes in this short and technical (50 foot) route: squeezing the arete below the first bolt, smearing and crimping above 2nd bolt, and a deadpoint to a pocket by the 4th. Feels hard for a 12d, although not very long.
