Description:
A large flaring flake makes for really cool underclings with bolts out to the right. The route curves left on top of "the clam" to the top anchors. A harder 5.8 than one would expect and an awesome warm-up. Located just before the gully on the far end of the sunset wall. 3 bolts and anchor.

The Clam is GOOD. Especially if you are interested in crazy odd looking rock formations. Under the canopy the bulbous mass looks oddly enough like a clam. The ins and outs of the movement can actually be wierd and awkward for it to be much of a classic climb, but chowder next to it is reaaallly good.
