| The Menagerie Wilderness can be an awesome place to climb, but it can also be a dangerous place too. Therefore, it is recommended that experts go there since there is a chance of rock fall and runouts. The area is highly developed though. |

| Directions: | From Sweet Home take HWY 20 east for about 20 miles. You will see a road on your right to Fernview Campground. Continue on HWY 20 for about 0.5 miles after seeing Fernview Campground and you will see Rooster Rock Trailhead. Hike this trailhead (its about 2.1 miles and 2,500 feet elevation gain) until you see chicken rock. |
