About Colbert Station:
| A long ridge line of rock that runs along the east edge of the Mid State Trail near the old Antrim coal mines. most of the rock here is a combination of conglom/quartzite and sandstone. There are quite a few free standing boulders as well as some good (but short) crack and face climbs. This area is rather dirty since it has not been used by climbers much until recently. |
| Nearest town or city: | Morris |
| Directions: | From Wellsboro take Route 287 south and look for rattler road on your right just before you get to the town of Morris. Take rattler road up the hill and look for the MST crossing on your right. there is a brown wooden sign and a parking area here. Walk the trail in (going north/east) to the top of the ridge and then cut perpendicular to the east/south. Within 20 feet the ridge will drop out and there are a lot of large standing boulders and a small cliff face. |
