A high exposed crag on top of the east ridge above Penns Creek. Known as the Pinnacles it is short on the number of routes but you get great exposure. |
Approach: | from the parking area, cross the foot bridge across Penns Creek that leads to a biking and hiking trail on an old railroad bed. after crossing the bridge you will encounter a small section of private land (the trail remains public), just past this take the trail to your left that goes up the property line to the power cut. walk left on the powercut until you see the original trail heading uphill throught the pines (old red blazes) |

Access Issues: | Yes. A SMALL section of land is now private at the bottom of the old trail from the old railroad bed. The owner of the property has moved the trail approx. 30 yards down the railroad bed to his property line and has cut a new trail that joins the old one. They have even place a sign to point you to the new trail, SO please use it and thank them if you see them. |
