Description:
The first half of the climb is much more featured than the higher section. After a small ledge the route gets significantly harder. The flat vertical slab forces you to use crimpy handholds and friction for your feet. *** The Forest Service has issue a statement prohibiting the use of man-made railing post at Rim Rock for anchors of any kind. *** - Fortunately there are trees a few feet behind the edge of the overlook to use for this climb, You will however be blocking the path and may be asked to remove your gear from the Forest Rangers. This would be a very bolted route if someone were ever able to persuade the Forest Service to allow bolting in this area.Descent Options:
