Description:
Start around the right side of the pillar, about five (5) feet left of The Great Chimney start. Step up in the pocket and climb the excellent finger crack (hint: try laybacking the upper section) up to a fair size outward sloping covey, setup a belay or, continue up the right side of the pillar using the knobs all the way to the top. Bring lots of small and medium sized wires or #1 and #2 friends. Remember, don’t cheat by stepping down on The Great Chimney’s first chock stone ledge.Descent Options:
Traverse / walk over to the top of Pillar #2 and descend via Pillar #2’s descent routes (see descent routes for Pillar #2).
