| Continue down the ridge past the main area. Shortly you will come upon the large Bolt Boulder with the tall and beautiful Spanking arete facing the trail. |
| Approach: | there is a short cut to bolt boulder area, if driving down whiskey springs road away from dillsburg toward mount holly/carlisle, park on the left in the lot with the rock pile blocking an atv trail, across from a dirt road lined with medium size boulders. walk down the atv trail and then take a trail which veers right, go up the hill and you'll come out about 50 feet past bolt boulder after walking only 4 mins |
