Clipping the bolt on the roof felt so far away, but taller climbers probably won't agree with me. Right over the ledge there is a beautiful hold marked with a giant X, so as tempting as it may be love your belayer and skip it. When I climbed this one there was dried blood on the rock, so....yeah.
Seriously, be careful on this one. Or avoid it entirely. After clipping the second bolt I traversed left a little and with only a little weight from my feet a 50-75 lb chunk of rock came loose and only missed my belayer because she jumped to the side. It landed on my rope, cutting almost all the way through it, and destroyed my rope bag.
So keep in mind, this is loose quarry rock, and just like the game it's named after, you never know when something on Jenga is going to fall.
