About 7 foot falls:

contains several undeveloped problems anywhere from V2 to V9. There are probably many more that are harder.
Nearest town or city: Long Creek, SC
Directions: to get to this section of the river, follow 76 from the border of GA and SC and turn right about 5 mi after the bridge onto Orchard rd. Then take an immediate right on the gravel road called Woodall Shoals. At the bottom is a parking lot with an access trail to the chattooga river. Near the bottom of this put-in/take-out, there is another trail branching off to the left that follows the river downstream for about .25 miles. There are multiple boulders on both the river left and river right side of the river, and there is a large boulder on river right directly across from the class IV rapid called seven foot falls. This boulder contains the majority of the bouldering on the entire river. There are also several problems above this rapid on river left.

Access Issues: To cross the river can be tricky and should be done with utmost care. If bringing a crash pad, you can throw it across and then swim. The best crash pad/easiest way to boulder is to use a raft.
