Six bolts, with an optional #3 cam down low. (Our guidebook said there were five bolts and cautioned a leader to hook the rope behind a redirect to protect the second, but there were six bolts and the one at the top kept the second safer.) There's also a
This fun route starts off of a large boulder, so the opening moves are already ankle-cracking high, the #3 cam can be slotted in a crack there to make sure one doesn't deck if he or she trips. Rocket Man is fairly sustained 5.7 and follows right up an arete on the left side of a large crack. The route is a slightly balancy and straightforward climb using knobs and crystals. The bolts are well-placed with good stances for clipping. There's a horn that can be slung, just before having to do a slightly balancy and exposed move just five feet from the top. It's an excellent route to start the morning on.
At the top of the route there's an obvious two bolt anchor with chains for an easy, single rope rappel.
