This fun route starts off of a large boulder, so the opening moves are already ankle-cracking high, the #3 cam can be slotted in a crack there to make sure one doesn't deck if he or she trips. Rocket Man is fairly sustained 5.7 and follows right up an arete on the left side of a large crack. The route is a slightly balancy and straightforward climb using knobs and crystals. The bolts are well-placed with good stances for clipping. There's a horn that can be slung, just before having to do a slightly balancy and exposed move just five feet from the top. It's an excellent route to start the morning on.

Descent Options:

At the top of the route there's an obvious two bolt anchor with chains for an easy, single rope rappel.
