Description:

This is the all too obvious chimney visible from Sylvan Lake. A stout squeeze chimney that is hard for the grade and tricky to protect. The crux is getting into the chimney after scrambling up the lower 30 feet. This is a long pitch, and two ropes are necessary to get down. Great climb.

This route sucks. More difficult than a 5.6 not technical just a pain in the ass. You have to move through two tight! chimneys. You just kind of scooch your way up. Wear a helmet. A couple chalk stones in the second chimney. One is kind of loose. Be carefull how you rack your gear and don't bring a lot of extra crap or pro. Liable to get stuck. Lots of slings. Pro deep inside chimney. If your a big person I would not suggest this route. I didn't lead, cleaned. Cody gets the credit for this one.
