About The Outlets:

The Outlets contains the area directly behind Sylvan Lake (which makes life easier since camping is a short walk away). Most climbers have a tendency to stay at the Sylvan Lake Campground, which will run you around $14 a night, but there's camping throughout the area. If you do drive, parking can be had at the Sylvan Lake General Store/Cafeteria (if you need a partner, this is where you hang out). The best climbing can be had through July and August, since spring is usually rather damp and fall can bring in snow early. But still, climbing can be had year 'round. The rock is mostly pegmatite, with bolted faces where cracks aren't available, which constitutes the majority of the climbing. Although, there are a few cracks climbs in the area (just bring the tape for your hands).
Nearest town or city: Sylvan Lake
Directions: From the Sylvan Lake General Store/Cafeteria, follow the trail along the southwest (left) side of the lake until you see a private drive that dead ends to your left. Follow this road up over a small hill, eventually leading you to a residence on your right and another building on your left. The mail acess point is an old jeep trail immediately to the right (east) of the residence.
