About Outcropolis:

A bouldering area for those wanting new rock and to escape the crowds. Most of the climbing is on short bluff outcroppings hence the name.

Directions: click here for the Drtopo Guide. Directions from the guide Hwy 27 N from Downtown Signal Mtn exit toward Signal Mtn. Turn left on Suck Creek Rd (US27N) and follow up Suck Creek Canyon. Atop the Canyon follow brown signs for Prentice Cooper (2 left Turns). Once inside Prentice Cooper area go 5.5 mi and pass Davis Pond Rd about 500 yards until you can see the brown post marker denoting the incline trail on your right. During different times of the year growth will affect the visibility of the marker, in this event simply look for the only shoulder and walk back up the road to find the marker. Make sure to park off the road and follow the path 5 mins until you can see the boulders on your right. To find other areas simply follow the overview in the guide.
