Description:
An E-rock classic climb. Start left of "M.D. 20/20" and climb to the left of the tree. Belay from huge almost horizontal flake. Finish on the big black streak up to the top - 20m+ runout up top. Takes full 60M rope to complete. Crystals worn down so the rating has changed over time from a 5.7 to about a 5.9. Perfect climb!

We started this climb at 9:30 pm with 4 guys and one rope.. it was an awesome moonlit night and with the headlamps made it a perfect amount of light to increase the challenge and keep cool. We chilled at the 2nd pitch belay ledge and smoked and laughed and "Kaaaaaakeeeeeee" until 1130 and climbed the last pitch before hiking off.. I dropped a purple ATC from the top belay so if you find it, don't use it... its 15 years old and to 15 bumps off the 350 ft climb on the way down...

Harder than the old guidebook says it is
The old guide book puts this at a 5.7. Um, no. Still a good climb, but just did the first pitch, and definitely NOT a 5.7. My BF lead it with a 40lb pack on... too sweet. The pull over the ledge is pretty stout for us shorties (I'm 5'1"), but can be done with a little blind trust in the feet you don't think you have. The second pitch may put it at 5.9, but I thought it was about equal in difficulty with Deep Prok on the first pitch, which is why I give it the 5.8 rating.
