4 out of 5 stars short, with wild action up the wave.

The wave was interesting to sort out, and I always liked the energy boost past the crux. After that it's still hard to read. Both this route and its bolted variation offer different, fun climbing past the crux.

During development, North Shore saw few rock-breaks, about on par with the other established areas. But when it broke, people generally got hurt. On this route, I'd pulled the starting jug a dozen times, projecting this and its variation. Then a guy pulled it on a high clip and part of it broke. He broke his foot. Hopped out of North Shore on the 25 minute trail in hot weather.

Later an arrow-head sized/shaped foothold popped from Middle Earth Wall, and it speared route into someone's scalp. It required Staples (not stiches). Later a jug blew apart, wacking a guy's knee, requiring alot of downtime and physical therapy. That rock also shattered a strongly built water bottle.
