About Fern Gully:

Fern Gully is a 40ft wall that extends over 100 yards. Unlike the other walls at Thorn Vine, Fern Gully is covered with tufas, stalactites, stalagmites, and even stalagnates (full columns). Features like this make each climb a little more interesting in comparison to your average limestone wall.
Approach: From the parking area, walk about 30-40 meters south (parallel with the highway) until you see a very steep dirt slope. If your lucky, there will still be an old rope tied off next to the highway wall that you can use to get down. If it's not there, good luck sliding down on your ass, and you better hope you packed lightly. Once you've made your way down this steep slope, turn to your left so your facing south once again, and your there. Enjoy.
Approach Time: 10min

Access Issues: There are much easier walls to get to at Thorn Vine without having to slide down steep hillsides. However, the atmosphere of this wall and it's routes are well worth the sketchy approach.
