This route ascends the east face of the pinnacle in back of Johnny 5. Follow obvious weakness up to the saddle/areteand climb up and right pounding pins on the arete for pro. One of the most enjoyable routes here, nice pro, good rock, and killer position make for a Vermillion Classic ( if there is such a thing). On the first ascent our drill bit was to dull to eek out and more than a bored out 1/16'' hole. So Stroker and i hacked at the end of my brand new rope with blades and hammers, until we resinged to burning each individual strand in the core, with a lighter that was more than stubborn. So to make a long story short always carry a knive and extra webbing!
