Description:
This classic alpine arete has beautiful position, with views across the N and W faces. It is warmer and perhaps safer from rockfall than the face routes. It is a mix of gear, bolts and fixed pins put up in traditional ground up style. The climbing on the 2nd pillar can be exciting with 5.9 obligitory face moves. The rock is similar in difficulty and quality to "Book of Saturdays". It is best to descend via "Book of Saturdays" after the top of the 2nd pillar. Be familiar with the location of those anchors beforehand
