About Cane Wash:

Only a few people even know about this place...home to one of the finest cracks in the Utah desert -- the Honorable Citizen Cane. Please treat this area with respect. This is a wilderness study area and a long way from help. Use a topo map to help find this area. Here are the basics. Drive 3-4 miles south of the San Rafael River bridge toward I70. Turn right (west) onto a rough 4x4 road that is marked w/ trail markers. Drive past an old mine with shot up car and truck and continue to the mouth of Cane Wash. Park here and walk about 2.5 miles. You'll see ArCane Tower on the right. Citizen Cane is the perfect splitter, vissible with binoculars, on the other side of the wash from the tower and a little further in.
