5 out of 5 stars Sweet face moves on the edge of a desert tower

Followed Greg. He forgot his ATC. Belayed me from the hip! Crazy, ballsy crux move on the arete! Awesome long pitch!

I'm ashamed to say that this mostly bolted pitch was my favorite of an entire week-long trip to the desert. Amazing. Didn't seem too hard for .11c as the crux is quite short, albeit tenuous. Edited to add--I take that back: I climbed the route again in fall 2004 (following), and it felt absolutely desperate--I must have been in some kind of zone when I led it in spring, one that doesn't come around very often!
