About Deadmans Buttress:

about 1/2 mi. up Longs Canyon road is a large pullout on the left. the buttress is on the opposite side of the road. approach by continuing to walk up the road. follow a prominent drainage to the left that avoids the cliffbands. Program Director can be easily identified as a long splitter in the right wall of a large left facing dihedral.
