About Texas Tower:

Best to access the canyon via the 4x4 road leading up Arch Canyon. Or follow dir. to Dreamspeaker. Drive another 3 and 1/2 miles past Dreamspeaker campsite, to a nice camsite on the rim. Follow trail near the rim to a USGS benchmark. Just below mark is a good tree to rap from. Once you have gianed access to Arch and Texas canyons and located nice big campsite at the end of the 4x4 road, follow creek bed west (left most canyon is texas canyon. The canyon the heads north is Arch canyon. Texas Tower is the large (600 ft) spire, about an 45 minute hike from the nice flat campsite in the canyon floor.
